Object history
Copie du INV 740 (Pietro della Vecchia, Portrait d'homme, 1,51 x 1,13) vendu au cabinet royal par Ménageot père le 18. 12. 1776. Selon Villot (I, 457), les gravures du Théâtre des peintures de David Teniers, dédié à Léopold-Guillaume (Bruxelles, 1660) ont été exécutées d'après des copies analogues au INV 471.
Ancienne collection ; inventorié au Louvre en 1824 ("D'après Giorgione") ; déposé au château de Saint-Cloud au XIXe siècle
Présumé détruit ou disparu pendant l'incendie du 13 octobre 1870.
