Commentaire :
Syson et Gordon attribuent ce dessin (INV 2332 R et V) ainsi que celui du British Museum à Bono da Ferrara en raison des affinitées stylistiques et techniques entre ces trois dessins et un dessin de Bono da Ferrara, conservé à L'Institut néerlandais, Paris, représentant Saint Jérôme dans un paysage (Pisanello painter to the Renaissance court, Londres, National Gallery, 2001-2002, p.209).
Même personnage que celui représenté sur un dessin du British Museum (Inv. 1946-7-13-206) (D. Cordellier, Cat. exp. Pisanello, Le peintre aux sept vertus, Paris, Musée du Louvre, 1996, n° 174).
Attribué à Gentile Da Fabriano par Longhi (cité par De Marchi, 1992)
