Commentaire :

G. Paccagnini tombait d'accord avec B. Degenhart, pour signaler la parenté de ces dessins de vieillards (INV 2335 et INV 2337) et d'un dessin de même technique, réprésentant une tête de jeune homme de trois quarts et qui date de 1440-1444 environ (Musée du Louvre INV 2330) (D. Cordellier, Cat. exp. Pisanello, Le peintre aux sept vertus, Paris, Musée du Louvre, 1996, n° 242).
