Donné à Léonard de Vinci par G. Vallardi ('Disegni di Leonardo da Vinci posseduti da Giuseppe Vallardi dal medesimo descritti ed in parte illustrati, Milan 1855, p. 19, n° 91), D. Cordellier (note ms au verso du montage) propose de l'attribuer à Matteo de' Pasti.
