Commentaire :
Ce dessin s'apparente étroitement à un autre dessin de cheval, cette fois chevauché par un cavalier (Musée du Louvre, Inv 2373 ; cat. 213), légèrement plus petit et laissé inachevé (D. Cordellier, cat. exp. Pisanello, le peintre aux sept vertus, Paris, Musée du Louvre, 1996, n° 215).
Ce dessin n'est pas photographiable.
