Commentaire :
Copie d'après un dessin de Pisanello peut être fait pour la fresque perdue de la chapelle Pellegrini à S. Anastasia, qui représentait 'Saint Georges rengainant son épée'. (D. Cordellier, cat. exp. Pisanello, le peintre aux sept vertus, Paris, Musée du Louvre, 1996, n° 190).

Materials and techniques
Plume et encre brune, lavis brun, lavis de sanguine, rehauts de blanc partiellement oxydés, tache de lavis vert. Papier irrégulièrement lavé de sanguine. Un angle inférieur abattu.
