Cette étude a des équivalents en sens inverse avec l'oeuvre dessiné de Bellini (RF 425 et Album du Louvre, fol. 61, RF 1529, et Album du British Museum, fol 34 verso, Inv 1859-8-11-33) (D. Cordellier, Cat. exp. Pisanello, Le peintre aux sept vertus, Paris, Musée du Louvre, 1996, n° 19).

Materials and techniques
Plume et encre brune, tracé préparatoire à la pierre noire. Papier filigrané frotté et lavé de sanguine rouge sombre, sur deux feuillets de papier assemblés. Le fragment de gauche était originellement à gauche en regard du fragment de droite au verso du dessin du musée du Louvre INV 2632.
