A rapprocher du dessin de Rosso 'La Vierge Marie enlèvant le péché à Adam et Eve' (Florence, Galleria degli Uffizi, Gabinetto dei disegni e delle stampe, n. 15559F) préparatoire pour une fresque non réalisée et mentionnée par G. Vasari ('Le Vite de più eccellenti pittori, scultori e architettori', 1906, éd. Milanesi, V, p.164), destinée à orner l'église Madonna delle Lacrime à Arezzo.
Probablement de la même main que le dessin Inv. 34951.
