Etude préparatoire pour 'Vénus demandant à Vulcain des armes pour Enée', une des compositions des 'voussures' du plafond de la Galerie d'Enée au Palais-Royal, détruite en 1781 avec la Galerie. Le Musée d'Angers possède une esquisse de cette composition. Montage commun avec les dessins RF 12355, RF 12356, RF 12357, RF 12358 et RF 12359.
