Ce dessin faisait autrefois partie de l'album Fantin-Latour 1 (de RF 12392 à RF 12456) ; il tait rapporté sur le folio45 recto.
Copie d'après la deuxième figure à partir de la droite dans la 'Pêche miraculeuse et la vocation de saint Pierre', Victoria and Albert Museum, Londres, carton de la 1re pièce de la Tenture des Actes des Apôtres, peut-être par l'intermédiaire d'une gravure ou d'une photographie (D. Cordellier, B. Py, Musée du Louvre - Inventaire général des dessins italiens - V. Raphaël, son atelier, ses copistes, Paris, 1992).
