Commentaire :La chemise contenant les dessins RF 15015 à RF 15032 portait la mention : 'métiers'. Ce dessin est à rapprocher des dessins RF 15174 et RF 15051. Deux autres dessins sur le thème du jardinage, les RF 15021 et RF 15022 complètent cette série d'études préparatoires pour les décorations du Grand Salon de l'ancien Hôtel du Louvre, plus tard Magasin du Louvre, à Paris. Le musée d'Orsay possède une série de peintures marouflées (RF 1976-23 à 68) s'y rapportant.
