Selon l'inscription sur un dessin de Simone de Saint-Palais copiant un original d'Augustin, il s'agirait d'u portrait de Lord Grand (crayon, encre noire et rehauts de gouache sur papier, inscription : Milord Grand, H. 0,10 ; L. 0,07 m, vente Christie's Londres, 24 juin 1935, n° 794, localisation actuelle inconnue) (Bernd Pappe, Jean-Baptiste Jacques Augustin 1759-1832, Une nouvelle excellence dans l'art du portrait en miniature, Scripta Edizioni, Verona, 2015, n° 977, p. 339, repr. en coul. p. 218).
