Au verso se trouve une étude pour la même composition. Une autre, plus grande et mieux conservée, est conservée au Metropolitan Museum de New York, et une autre est conservée à Christ Church, Oxford.

Un dessin très abouti de Federico ZUCCARO, 'The Virgin and Child with Saints Joseph, Anthony Abbot, Dorothea, and a Donor', est passé en vente chez Katrin Bellinger Kunsthandel, 'Old Master Drawings', New York, 3-20 mai 1995, Lot. 9, repr.
