Commentaire :Etude préparatoire à la figure de l'ange intervenant pour arrêter le geste d'Abraham s'apprêtant à sacrifier son fils. La peinture sur ce sujet et son pendant, une des versions de l'Offrande de Noé, sont conservés à Atlanta (High Museum of Art, Collection Samuel H. Kress).
