Feuillet appartenant à un carnet de dessins, qui a longtemps été appelé le 'Carnet de croquis de Verrocchio', attribué à Francesco di Simone par G. Morelli en 1893 et qui est aujourd'hui démembré.
L'étude de jeune homme nu, au centre de la feuille, est à rapprocher d'un dessin de Lorenzo di Credi conservé à Oxford (Christ Church, n. 0057 ; repr. dans P. L. Rubin, A. Wright, cat. exp Renaissance Florence, the art of the 1470s', Londres, The National Gallery, 1999-2000, n° 60). Selon L. Pisani ('Francesco di Simone Ferrucci, Itinerari di uno scultore fiorentino fra Toscana, Romagna e Montefeltro', Florence, éd. Olschki, 2007, p. 142 sous n° 48, p. 163-164 n° 22, repr. fig. 202 : atelier de Francesco Ferrucci), elle est une copie d'après le David du Verrocchio à Florence, museo del Bargello.
