Commentaire :Ce dessin est une copie d'après la 'la Déploration du Christ' peint à fresque par Giotto, Padoue, Chapelle des Scrovegni. Il correspond exactement à une gravure de Pietro Selvatico publiée dans le recueil 'Sulla cappellina degli Scrovegni' (1836). La feuille date sans doute du séjour italien de Richomme, entre 1846 et 1847.
