Commentaire :
Etude pour la toile représentant 'Milon déchiqueté par un lion', aujourd'hui à l'Université de Chicago, The David and Alfred Smart Gallery (inv. n. 1975.31). La toile a un pendant aujourd'hui non localisé mais connu à travers quelques estampes 'Hercule et Achelöus' (Furlan 1988 ; Cohen, 1996). La première toile était attribuée à Giorgione, quand la seconde était déjà attribuée à Pordenone (M. Lorenzoni, 2019).
