Object history: Le dessin provient d'un album qui comprenait 173 feuilles donné le 21 décembre 1840 par Pierre Fontaine suivant la volonté de Charles Percier. voir Federica Mancini "De l'Italie à la France: reconstitution d'un album de dessins de quadratura autrefois conservé au département des Arts graphiques du musée du Louvre", Artitalies, n° 22, 2016, p. 80-90.
