Description/Features: Commentaire :
Parmigianino copie ici, lors de son séjour à Rome entre 1524 et 1527, la statue d'un Apollon citharède en basalte. L'oeuvre, sculpté d'après un original grec d'époque hellénistique et datée entre140 et 160 après J.-C., était logé dans une niche de la cour du palais Sassi. Aujourd'hui, la statue est conservée à Naples (Museo Archeologico Nazionale).
