Il s'agit peut-être d'Emma Hobson en 1806. Ce dessin est à mettre en rapport avec un tableau d'une collection particulière représentant une jeune fille avec la même coiffure et dans une attitude proche. (V. Goarin in cat. d'exp. 'De Gainsborough à Turner. L'âge d'or du paysage et du portrait anglais dans les collections du musée du Louvre', Valence, Quimper, 2014-2015, p. 219). Voir aussi G.
