Commentaire :
Considéré comme un original d'Antonio Pollaiolo par B. Berenson ('The Drawings of the Florentine Painters', Chicago, 1938, n° 1908B). Exposé en 1952 ('Dessins florentins du Trecento et du Quattrocento', cat. exp. Paris, Musée du Louvre, 1952, n° 64) parmi les dessins anonymes d'école florentine en y reconnaissant un rapport avec Piero della Francesca. Ainsi Ph. Pouncey, dans une note ms, suggère de le donner à un florentin influencé par cet artiste.
