Etude pour une pièce d'orfèvrerie, peut-être un milieu de table, à rapprocher d'un projet plus fini conservé à Florence (Galleria degli Uffizi, n. 15362 F, repr. dans L. Monaci Moran, 'Disegni di Giovanni Battista Foggini 1652-1725', Florence, 1977, n° 33). Les chevaux semblent repris de ceux de la 'Fontaine de Neptune' d'Ammannati sur la Piazza della Signoria, à Florence (comm. écrite anonyme contenue dans le dossier).
