Materials and techniques: Pointe de plomb. Papier filigrané. Filigrane : tête de More ceinte d'un bandeau à bouts flottants ; non répertorié par Briquet, proche d'un type probablement italien repéré principalement en Allemagne, en Vénétie et à Ferrare entre 1380 et 1417 (Briquet 15592 à 15598, 15600 et 15602) Angles supérieurs abattus.
Object history: G. Vallardi (L.1223, en vert, au verso) ; Disegni di Leonardo da Vinci posseduti da Giuseppe Vallardi..., 1855, n° 165 - Acquis en 1856 ; marque du Louvre (L. 1886a).
