Commentaire :Copie d'une oeuvre disparue du Maître du Hausbuch, faisant pendant au 'Un paysan traînant sa femme dans un panier' (303 LR). Ceux deux gravures font allusion à l'emprise de la femme sur son mari, battu et traité en esclave. Balthasar Jenichen gravera au XVIe siècle 'le Mari subjugué' traînant sa femme dans un panier. (P.
