Cette oeuvre, ainsi que la suivante, 332 LR, préfigurent la technique du chiaroscuro. Parmi les oeuvres de Mair conservées à la Collection, huit sont faites sur des papiers préparés avec diverses couleurs. (P. Torres in cat. exp.
