Commentaire :
De par son format monumental, cette oeuvre rappelle 'Les sorcières' (784 LR) .Les grands espaces laissés en blanc laissent penser que l'artiste aurait pu penser à une gravure en clair-obscur. Pourtant, on ne connaît aucune planche imprimé en clair-obscur. (P. Torres in cat. exp. 'Luzes do Norte; Desenhos e gravuras do Renascimento Alemão na Coleção Edmond de Rothschild', Sao Paulo, MASP, 2012, p. 108 et 109).
