Cette oeuvre est à rapprocher de 'l'Ornement au houblon' de M. Schongauer (Bartsch 1808, VI, p. 165, n°115, Inv. 273 LR) et du 'Décor de papier mural' avec des pampres, satyres et oiseaux, gravé sur bois de H.S.
