Commentaire :

Le personnage est une copie modifiée du Ponce Pilate dans le Christ devant Pilate gravé par Schongauer (197 LR). Le trône est très proche par le style des dessins du Picture-Chronicle et de 'La force' des Offices par Botticelli.
