Les deux personnages à gauche correspondent à ceux de la broderie de la 'Décollation du Baptiste' de l'autel de San Giovanni exécutée d'après les dessins d'Antonio Pollaiuolo entre 1466 et 1480 (aujourd'hui à l'Opera del Duomo, Florence).
