L'estampe est comparable par le style à la Cène gravée d'après Léonard de Vinci (Hind, 28, part. II, p. 89, n°10).
Le même sujet est gravé avec quelques modifications dans une gravure conservée à Berlin qui a la même origine et la même date (Hind, 28, E. III, 56).
