Commentaire :
La structure et le sujet rappellent la Transfiguration de Raphaël. La figure du Christ semble dériver d'un modèle de Raphaël et aurait pu être dessinée d'après un dessin attribué à Raphaël conservé au Getty Museum de los Angeles. Mis à part l'arbre de droite, la composition est en tout point similaire à celle du dessin du Louvre attribué à G. Romano par Hartt (Inv. 3867). La composition de ce dessin est la même que celle de la peinture de G. Romano conservée à la Galleria Nazionale de Parme (Inv. 37). (P. J.
