Description/Features: Commentaire :
Pierre Jean Mariette mentionne cette estampe dans ses Notes Manuscrites. Il est probable que le Maître JG a eu connaissance d'une gravure de Marco Dente, exécutée vers 1517-1519 dans laquelle le prêtre et ses enfants sont aux prises avec le monstre devant un paysage maritime. La composition du Maître JG est postérieure et a été probablement gravé e au tout début des années 1520.
