Le tableau d'après lequel cette gravure est faite est conservé au Louvre. Plusieurs répétition avec de légères différences sont conservées au Musée de Stockholm et de Saint Petesbourg. Une troisième est au Louvre dans la Collection la Caze. (E. Bocher, Les gravures françaises du XVIIIe siècle, Jean-Baptiste Siméon Chardin, Troisième fascicule, 1876, p. 10)
