Sous le trait carré à gauche 'Peint par Fragonard Ptre du Roi' et à droite: 'Gravé par Miger' Sous le titre 'L'AMOUR EN SENTINELLE', une dédicace 'Dédié à Monsieur Paris de Meyzieu'. En dessous, l'adresse de l'imprimeur: 'A Paris chez Miger,Graveur, rue Montmartre/au coin de celle des vieux Augustins'. Ecusson armorié. A droite: 'Par son très humble et très Obéissant Serviteur Miger'.
Object history: Œuvre conservée dans le portefeuille n°231 du baron Edmond de Rothschild jusqu'en 2021.
