Materials and techniques: Eau-forte sur papier vergé. Filigrane. Avec titre : 'L'HEUREUSE UNION', en dessous une dédicace: 'A Son Excellence Monsieur le Baron de Holmer/ Chevalier des ordres de l'Aigle blanc, de St. Anne, et de St. Stanislas.....par son très humble et très Obeissant Serviteur IHE'. En bas à gauche 'IHE inv.'. Sous le trait carré à gauche 'Freudenberg delin.', à droite 'Bosse Sculp.' En dessous, 'Se vend chez Mr. Moreau, Dessinateur du Roi, Cour du Palais'.
Object history: Acheté par Lacroix pour le baron Edmond de Rothschild en mars 1876.
Œuvre conservée dans le portefeuille n°232 de la collection Edmond de Rothschild jusqu'en 2021.
