Dans un cartouche en bas de la composition, le titre et six vers dédoublés :'L'OCCUPATION/ .................Cette Veste, où le goût a mis son art galant/ De l'Amour est-elle un présent?/ Non, charmante Thisbé, je n'ai point de maîtresse: / Mais j'ai devant les yeux un objet séduisant / Qui me fera connoître la tendresse.' Sous le trait carré en bas à gauche ' I. H. E. inv S. Freudeberg del'. Au centre, l'adresse de l'imprimeur 'A Paris chez Buldet rue des Gesvres', à droite 'Lingée Sculp.'
