En bas à gauche 'A Paris chez l'Auteur Rue de Tournon vis a vis l'Hotel de Brancas' . En bas à droite 'Par son très humble et très Obéiss. Serv / Guttenberg'.
Object history: Acquise par Lacroix à la vente Bayard en avril 1891 pour le baron Edmond de Rothschild.
Œuvre conservée dans le portefeuille n°234 du baron Edmond de Rothschild jusqu'en 2021.
