Commentaire :
La proposition d'attribution à Lucio da Todi a été faite sur une comparaison stylistique avec une Etude de fresque du Codice Resta par Prosperi Valenti (2007, n°201,b). Cette étude présente un traitement des figures très similaire. Cet artiste avait intervenu dans les décorations d'édifices sacrés comme dans Santa Maria in Via ou dans les stucs de San Giovanni in Laterano. Ces travaux ayant disparu il est difficile d'établir le lien entre ce dessin et un projet en particulier de ce décor. (C. Loisel in cat. exp.
