Cette estampe a été gravée pour "Tombeaux des princes grands capitaines et autres hommes illustres, qui ont fleuri dans la Grande-Bretagne vers la fin du XVII. & le commencement du XVIII. Siécle. ... par les soins de Eugene Mac-Swiny" publié à Paris chez Basan, s. d.
Un premier et un deuxième états sont conservés dans le recueil L 74 LR, folio 173 (Jean-Richard, Inventaire général de gravures de l'Ecole française 'L'œuvre gravé de François Boucher dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild', Paris 1978, p.154, n°515.)
