Commentaire :
Oeuvre gravée également par Soubeyran, en contrepartie, sous le titre "La belle villageoise" (19009 LR). Le groupe d'enfants se retrouve dans "L'heureux Age" gravé par Ravenet (18962 LR). L'enfant à gauche a été gravé par Boucher (5956 LR et 18046LR), par Anna Folkema et par un anonyme (18047 LR et 18048LR). (P. Jean-Richard, Inventaire général de gravures de l'Ecole française 'L'œuvre gravé de François Boucher dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild', Paris, 1978, p. 243, n° 947).
