Commentaire :
On peut comparer cette composition avec "L'amour désarmé" du Musée Condé à Chantilly reproduit par B. Audran pour l'Oeuvre gravé (L 89 LR folio 81). Cette estampe a servi de modèle pour le médaillon en émail du couvercle d'une tabatière du département des Objets d'Art (OA 2161)
