Annoncée au Mercure de mai 1755. Le tableau est conservé au Musée national de Stockholm, daté de 1746. Une réduction de cette peinture, peut-être faite par Gaillard, est conservée à la Wallace Collection à Londres (P. Jean-Richard, Inventaire général de gravures de l'Ecole française 'L'œuvre gravé de François Boucher dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild', Paris 1978, p.258, n°1025.)
