Gravé également par Demarteau (19182 LR) et par un anonyme avec des vers de Moraine sous le titre 'La femme patiente' (19434 LR). Un état postérieur est conservé à la Bibliothèque Nationale (P. Jean-Richard, Inventaire général de gravures de l'Ecole française 'L'œuvre gravé de François Boucher dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild', Paris 1978, p. 281, n°1143).

Un dessin de François Boucher de même composition est passé en vente chez Artcurial, Paris, jeudi 23 mars 2017, vente n° 3034, cat. 'Maîtres anciens & du XIXe siècle', lot 22, p. 26.
