Commentaire :
Il s'agit d'une suite de six planches. Une composition présentant quelques variantes a été gravée par Beauvais (5968 LR, 5969 LR, 18304 LR et 18305 LR). Un dessin à la pierre noire, contre-épreuve, figurait à la vente Lebeuf de Montgermont en juin 1919 (Ananoff, 1966, n°266 a) (P. Jean-Richard, Inventaire général de gravures de l'Ecole française 'L'œuvre gravé de François Boucher dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild', Paris 1978, p.281, n°1150).
