Cette estampe fait partie d'une suite de douze eaux-fortes gravées par Le Bas et Ravenet d'après des dessins de Boucher réalisés en 1735/36. La seule manquante à la collection est "La Laittiere" par Le Bas. Elle furent annoncées par le "Mercure galant" de 1737.
Object history: Oeuvre conservée auparavant dans le portefeuille n°442 du baron Edmond de Rothschild.
