Pendant du numéro 487 "Les poussins" tiré du portefeuille de Mr. Nera, qui est en réalité un anagramme du poète hollandais Willem van Haren.
Un dessin à la pierre noire rehaussé de blanc est conservé à la National Gallery of Art de Washington. (P. Jean-Richard, Inventaire général de gravures de l'Ecole française 'L'œuvre gravé de François Boucher dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild', Paris, 1978, p. 220 et 221, n° 839).
