L'édition d'Amsterdam de 1769/70 en 4 volumes in 12 n'est qu'un abregé de celle de Paris. Pour illustrer son ouvrage l'abbé Chappe d'Auteroche s'entoure de J.M. Moreau, Caresme de Fécamp et de J. B. Le Prince
