Hind compare ce nielle à un dessin conservé aux Uffizi (117 E) attribué à Finiguerra, préparatoire à l'homme au turban à gauche de la composition (Hind, A.M., in 'Early Italian engraving', part I, Vol. I, Londres, 1938, p. 315 à 318).
C. Loisel corrobore cette attribution (in 'Il Rinascimento italiano nella Collezione Rothschild del Louvre', Casa Buonarroti, Florence, mai - septembre 2009, p. 88)
