Ce nielle sur papier fut donné à Peregrino da Cesena par Duchesne et Passavant. Il existe une autre épreuve au British Museum. A. Blum range ce nielle parmi les attribués à Peregrino, ('Les nielles du Quattrocento', Musée du Louvre, Cabinet d'estampes Edmond de Rothschild, Paris, Compagnie des Arts photomécaniques, 1950, p. 23, n°96).
