Duchesne (qui n'a connu que l'épreuve du British Museum) et Dutuit intègrent cette œuvre dans le corpus de Peregrino. Pour A. Blum, elle appartient également à cet ensemble ('Les nielles du Quattrocento', Musée du Louvre, Cabinet d'estampes Edmond de Rothschild, Paris, Compagnie des Arts photomécaniques, 1950, p. 26, n°116).
